Performance Based Entrance     Since the inception of the AJGA in 1978, juniors submitted tournament resumes in order to gain entry into an AJGA event. The process led to many questions, the most common being, “How do I gain entry into an AJGA Tournament?”

Recently, the AJGA has analyzed the process and developed an objective system whereby juniors earn their way into AJGA tournaments by performances at the state, regional, and national levels. The American Junior Golf Association proudly introduces the new Performance Based Entry process.

“Performance Based Entry process is a bench mark in the history of the AJGA, as it is a total revamping of how a member enters an AJGA tournament,” AJGA Executive Director Stephen A. Hamblin said. “The ability to earn entry is now placed where it should be, in the hands of the members.”
