WELCOME TO THE FJT!

The Florida Junior Tour (FJT) is the premier championship series in the Southeast for junior golfers.  Conducted by the Florida State Golf Association, the FJT events are professionally conducted on many of the state's finest venues.

Competitors in the FJT events are very accomplished and you should review the results from prior tournaments to gain an accurate assessment of the field strength.

Thank you for considering the FJT - we look forward to a great season.

AGE
You can compete on the Tour from age 13 through 18 as long as you have not completed high school AND started attending college. Which means... you can take college classes while you're still in high school, but once you graduate from high school and go to college you become ineligible. Oh yeah, if you bomb out of college and want to come back and play it's too late - you should have studied more.
The FJT reserves the right to grant conditional status to players younger than 13 if they demonstrate exceptional playing capability.

Please see Tournament Policies for more information.

TIME OF EVENTS (Saturday PM - Sunday AM)
Most FJT events will be held on weekends.  To reduce the demands on families, the first round will typically be conducted on Saturday beginning in the late morning or shortly after noon.  The final round will start first thing Sunday morning.  Many families will be able to drive to the host site by leaving home early Saturday morning, eliminating the need for a Friday night stay-over.

In the Summer months, when weather is more threatening, both rounds will usually be held in the mornings.
